The power of "FALSIES"

Ever wanted to have full, lush and thick lashes? - Well I do...    :)
I actually have long lashes but they are very thin that sometimes you don't even notice that they're there...LoL!

Kidding aside, natural lashes are PERFECTLY fine but if ever you want to have that "wow factor", that certain "UMPH" or to have that ultimate "Eye Drama", I would suggest getting extensions or just put on faux lashes or falsies - As for me, I'd rather do the latter.  but hey, I have nothing against lash extensions,  it's just that it doesn't work for me. I have tried it countless times,  spent thousands of pesos for that and I even went to a very famous salon here in the Metro thrice... yes you read it right, i went there thrice in a span of just 2 months. I paid  for almost Php5000 worth of lashes that comes off after a week. Well, anyway enough of that.. I'm over that! hahaha.. ๏̯̃๏

Basically,  that's the main reason why I switched to applying / putting on falsies instead. Aside from the fact that it's way cheaper and easier to manage, I can just put it on myself at any time or any way I prefer. ☺

So, here's what I used for today's lash application. I bought these lashes from a fellow blogger online for Php100 per pack ( 8 pairs of lashes) and the lash glue was purchased at Hortaleza Cubao for Php90.
Sorry I don't have the brand name since it's written in Chinese, I think..

FMax Eye Putti / Putty

The first picture is right after putting on the lashes. Let me tell you though, that I'm still learning the ropes of the art of putting on falsies. Haha.. Anyway, the other picture below is after applying liquid gel liner to cover up those itsy-bitsy spaces between my upper lashes and eyelid.

*Don't forget to trim the edges of the falsies to match the exact size of your eyes and apply mascara to help your natural lashes and  falsies look like they're the same.

The final look...

Mini Haul #3

It's been weeks that I have been looking for good quality Eyelash adhesive - Believe me, I tried everywhere.  And unfortunately, I just can't seem to find the one that I used before. I don't really know the product name but all I remember was I bought it from Hortaleza for Php80 and it's packaged in a small red box. This guy from Hortaleza said that they don't have that product anymore and insisted that I buy this new item that they sell and even mentioned that the results are practically the same. Oh well, since I'm out of options I decided to buy this new one - F Max Eye Putti for only Php90. Anyway, this is a lot different from what I used before but then I'll give this a shot. (I'll make a review on this when I get the chance to use it).

Moving on, I also stumbled upon Isetann's 4-day mid year sale yesterday and bought 3 discounted items which are as follows :
1). Beautyholics Keratin Hair Treatment ( From Php150 to Php125)
2). Oseur Skin Vibe Body Scrub (Php99)
3). Pasha Hide the Blemish Concealer stick (Php20)

*** Product reviews will be posted soon! :)

Mini Haul (Accessories) #2

I love make up products  as much as accessories. It can be  like an antique-looking piece of jewelry or not too fancy kind of thing. I love going to bazaars or so- called "tiangge" (that's what we call it here in the Philippines). Yes, I admit - I'm a shopaholic! If I see an item that immediately catches my attention, I know in my heart that I have to buy it. lol!
Anyways, here's what I bought in Farmer's tiangge the other day. These necklaces are so easy to pair up with a round-neck plain body hugging shirt. I can't wait to try them on!

1). A Choker Necklace with White synthetic stone in gold trim (php180) paired with a white earring with the same gold trim (Php80)

2). A Choker Necklace with Black synthetic stone in gold trim (php180)

Since we're talking about accessories and pieces of jewelry, here's a snapshot of what I already have so far. These are just i think 1/4 of my collection because some of them are kept in a box and I didn't have the time to take them all out and  take a picture. But one of these days I promise I will feature them all soon! :)

Month Ender (May) Mini Haul #1

Here are some of the items I bought for the end of the month. I  buy these every after 2 months since these items  last way longer than the other things I normally buy on a bi-weekly basis.

1.) First up, my ever-reliable Maybelline Clear Smooth 8-in-1 BB Cream (Php224)
I have been using this product for almost a year now and I'm proud to say that it hasn't failed me. I really don't have any major skin problems that I need full coverage for but I still put this on -  just to  cover some of those dark spots. And at the same time, this product is a money-saver! I don't need to buy a separate foundation, sun block, and moisturizer since this product literally has everything i need!

2) I also bought Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-one Shine free Cake Powder Refill (Honey - Php134)
I only use this when I'm out with friends or when I commute to and from the office especially when I know that It'll be a hot day.  This helps me feel and look fresher and makes make up lasts longer. This is very helpful for commuters like me since it's very lightweight and can easily fit inside a very small pouch.

3) Holy Seat (Php39) - I know the product name sounds funny but it truly lives up to its name. This handy spray is a Toilet Seat Sanitizer. Wait a minute, don't judge me yet! I know some of you might say that I might be an OC  but let me tell you now - I AM NOT (maybe a little, hahaha). But honestly, this is very very very handy when you're in public comfort rooms.

4) Human Nature Balancing Facial Wash (Orange and Elemi with Bamboo Scrubs) Php189.75
I love Human Nature! I have been buying lots of stuff from them for about a year now and I'm very satisfied with all the products that I bought. Aside from the fact that this product keeps excess oil in check, all of their products have no harmful chemicals.

5) Human Nature Natural Sunflower Beauty Oil (Php249.75)
And this is my favorite of all the Human Nature products being sold in the market. I use this as a facial moisturizer, body lotion, make up remover and skin whitener. - This product really is a miracle in a bottle!
